At what RPM do you want the max power?
In general, 2 to 2 1/4 pipe size is more then enough for a Super Six SL6

I have a set of 2x3 Clifford headers and I have 2 1/4 pipes all the way back......Clifford said that you should go no more than 2 1/2. What mufflers are you going to run?

My favorite street muffler for a slant is the Walker Super Turbo. Magnaflow is a close second. Either will outperform a Flowmaster. You only need one muffler since 2 1/4" single exhaust is fine for any slant with a stock cam.
