Just received my head gasket (Permaseal Ap210 (3.66 bore)) and noticed that it said 225 slant 6 62-70. I've got a 74 block and using revised camber spark tube type head (68-75 style). Should I have any problems here? Why wouldn't it say from 62-75? or later?

are you going to bore your block 3.66? please, I'd love to hear how you're going to get away with that .260 extra. I don't think there's enough material between cylynders, but maybe you have a great mechine shop that cae up with some epiphany...

for the model label I wouldn't be concerned, those parts guys wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a 5/16 bolt and a 7/16 if they were mislabeled, :D

Didn't that gasket come from down under? Where the slant got replaced by the domestically built 'hemi' six around 1970-71? The head gaskets for everything but the aluminum engines are interchangeable.

Also, (combustion) chamber is spelled with an h. Camber is the outward or inward tilt of a wheel.

You'll be fine with that Aussie gasket. Very nice piece. The big bore is helpful for putting in bore notches for flow, not necessarily for bigger overbores.

Yup, I resold one of the gaskets I got from the group buy as plans changed. Glad to hear it arrived safely.

we're not going to bore to 3.66, thats just what the gasket can handle.
10-4 on the chamber and not camber. Missed the H.
The packaging was over the top. The only thing one could do more would to have used a piece of hardwood instead of pine as the backbone in the packaging. When it came I smiled and said "dam dude you wheren't *@#%ing around"
