Ok I'm currently building a 75 duster slant of course. My plans are to throw some efi and a blower at it and see how it does down the track. This will be my first efi build and I was wondering how big should I go with the injectors. I'm going to try to keep the blower mild something like 6 to 8 lbs. As for the efi system its self I'm thinking a throttle body from a ford lightening fast injectors mass air flow I'm not to sure I could use some input on that as well and a mega squirt ecu to tie it in together. Like I said this is my first efi setup so any input you can give me is greatly appreciated.

Thanks again,

Davidson

I have 30lb injectors on what is a very simlarly powered engine. That was recommended by rance, and they have worked out well. I tidles well, and has never run out of fuel because of injector size. I had early fueling problems that were solved with a surge tank.

For that much boost, you are looking at 28-36lbs injector size range for good all around performance. Could maybe use 40-45, but that would not be necessary.

Check out www.megamanual.com it has a chart and calculator for what size injectors support what kind of HP. You always want one or two sizes bigger to allow room for growth.

Try and find some high impedance ones if your running MS so you don't have to worry about pwm parameters or resistors.

I'm using 440 cc/min (42 lb/hour) injectors off a Supra Turbo on mine. They're low impedance and I'm running their matching Toyota injector resistor pack. The size may be a little bit of overkill, but it still idles pretty well for a car with no idle air controller.
