Tore down what I thought was gonna be my first engine build today. Got it all taken apart then I noticed on the passenger side of the block it was all busted up were it bolts to the tranny. Time to find another subject

Hate to hear that, but the good news is that they are easy to find.

Problem up here in the Northeast alot of them have been sent off for scrap or very very froze up from all the winters they have sat out in goldenrod fields

I find several of them in the Northeast region on car-part.com, starting at $110.00 and up from there. There were 5 or 6 in OH, a couple in PA and others in MA, RI, and CT

just went to car-part .com maybe I did something wrong. I didn't see none for 110.00 ,Please show me the way Flatiron

Well, in my previous post I pointed out one that was available as of a couple of hours ago, in PA, and FREE!. About car-part.com, I just put in a 75 Dodge Dart, engine, 225cid, northeast region and that's what popped up. I just reran the same search and found 6 of them in Toledo at $110.00. AN earlier search for just an engine block returned nothing but there do seem to be some complete engines out there.

Cool. Good luck with all that. If you were a bit closer I have a couple of spares myself that should be rebuldable but shipping to PA would be costly.
