Has anyone or know someone who has purchased the trans adapter from Imperial Services? The one which lets you use a newer model trans with the old pushbuttons. If so, I would appreciate some photos or scans from the instructions. Anything to give me a clue as to how it works. Thanks

I've purchased 2 of their kits for a 65 - one for a floor shift and the other for a column shift. Can't speak for the 64 conversion, but the kit for the stock shifting 65 using a 66 and later transmission is first class stuff in all respects. It appears that the most difficult aspect of the conversion is modifying the valve body. I had the folks at Dynamic Convertors and transmissions build me a transmission and they took car of the valve body mod. How does the conversion kit work? Don't know as both cars are still under construction.
