Neutral button for what make, model, and year?

What needs rebuilding in your pushbutton shifter? Usually they just need some minor repairs and/or lubrication.

sometimes, on some years button comes off slip fit, button falls inside dash ..it may be there, Can't remember what years, probably pre 62(57?) ; I glued them back with 3M rubber cement, no more of that. Easy to fix no matter what it is, as Dan says

Probably about 70% of the time I see a pushbutton car with a missing N button, it can be found by looking carefully under the driver's seat, usually nestled alongside one of the seat tracks.
