I was out at the Drag Expo today and came home with a few new toys. I ordered a new converter for the 904, a glass hood and front bumper, and an Anthony Jones Tubular K-frame kit for the Duster. Chrome-moly k-frame, tube A-arms, rack and pinion, coil-overs and lightweight brakes, and it's all nicely powder coated. Oh Boy!! It's just like Christmas until the Discover bill gets here! Dennis

Cool stuff, Dennis. Should lighten up the car a lot for drag racing. I admit, I am a bit envious of your means as well.

Cheers,

Believe it or not, I've actually been saving this money up for years. I was saving for a '70 Roadrunner, but I've decided to finally get serious with a race car. I've had the Duster long enough it's like family now anyway. Dennis

I know how you feel! For some of my projects I have also been saving for a long long time. I either can't find what I am looking for or they haven't built it yet. Besides I bet it was "on sale"

Dennis,

I believe you. I usually have the same mode of operation - save up for a couple of years, then buy something big when I can afford it. Glad you're going whole hog on the Duster - can't wait to see it at a Slant race this year!

Cheers,

Lou

Yes it was, but not as cheap as I would have liked!

Sorry Lou, I don't plan on it being done this summer. I'm gonna race the '66 this year, and come out storming next year with the Duster.

Good timing Dennis, get all this new stuff "in hand" before April 15 rolls around.
Trouble with all these new parts is that you have to get the stuff onto the car and working right!
( I could think of worse problems to have!)
