Please edit your post so that the link looks like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0061955079

The extra-long URL eBay gives you screws up the page and makes it hard to read. Thanks.

This is the same seller from whom I bought my electronic ignition distributors. He has figured out he can make more $$ by packaging his NOS distributors with ignition control boxes and wiring harnesses. Nothing wrong with that as far as it goes, and as far as I know it's all genuine Mopar stuff, but my preference for electronic ignition isn't the Mopar box, it's the HEI upgrade, which uses the Mopar distributor but HEI control module and no ballast resistor.

I bought my my stuff individually at my local Advance ( know the fellas, and spend a $ there) :) I spent Around $70 for Box, rebuilt OEM dist, and resistor. No cap, rotor or wiring. Plus a take back, no prob guarentee.

I don't like "rebuilt" parts from parts stores; mostly they suck. Also, it's getting hard to find a good quality Chrysler-style ignition box. The MP ones from Chrysler are Chinese trash!

Yeah, what I bought is just everyday stuff and deffinately not NOS. But should do me better than current. The ignition box is stamped USA and the dist is an oem. I was only making a reply stating what my cheap crap cost in comparison.

Well, there is also this one on E-Bay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 8044219666

which seems comparable (also appears to be NOS / genuine Mopar parts?)
with the one you've listed, but when you factor in the shipping-
is probably at least $20 cheaper...

Good stuff Dan! I don't know how I passed it up while browsing. I have done quite a few V8 swaps like this but never thought about doing the same on a slant! Guess that I should have thought outside the "box"....the ECU box that is!

The same vendor also sells the distributor alone for about $65.00 as I recall.
