Hey all,

I need a new windshield for my 68 Dart 4dr sedan. I think they are the same as 67-76 coupes and 2dr sedans, but am not sure. Is the sedan windshield a different part than the coupe/convertible part?

Thanks,

Lou

'67-'76 Dart and Valiant 2- and 4-door sedan windshields are all interchangeable.

The 2-door hardtops and convertibles use a different windshield.

Hey Dan,

Thanks for the info. I suspected as much. After some calls this afternoon, I have found that the sedan windshield uses glass part number 691 and the coupes/verts use 690. Also, the 63-66 Dart/Val/Bcuda windshield is PN 625.

I found a supplier/broker out of WA (glass.net) that can do it in a shop about 30 mi from me in Roanoke, VA and they insist on doing it in their shop. $270 installed.

Thanks again,

Lou

Yep, correct on those P/Ns. DW690 or DW856 for hardtops and convertibles, DW691 or DW857 for the sedans, '63-'66 A-bodies all use DW625, and '60-'62 A-bodies all use DW591.

Ask specific questions about the brand of glass you're being quoted on. Try hard for a major brand (PPG, Guardian, Safelite...) rather than something made in China...we are talking about an important piece of life safety equipment here.
