I recently picked up a big bolt, single pot 73 dart disc brake conversion for my 64 dart. I was hoping someone could speak from experience before I get too deep, spend more $$ and if the stuff will/won't fit.

1. for the front; will the 14x5.5 BBP rallye wheels I have interfere with the calipers? I took some measurements and it looks pretty close - I would like to know if they will fit the brakes before I go to the trouble of blasting/cleaning and painting them. I'm thinking 205 60 14's for tires...if the wheels fit of course.

2. I would like to go with the wheel vintique small bolt rallyes 15x7 in the back - will 235 70 or 60 15's fit? will that be too big? will i be better off giong with a 225?....by the way, it's got the stock 7.25 rear...

I have a '65 Dart and have plain stock steel rims with 15x5.5 on the front and 15x7 on the rear. The tires are 205/60 and 235/60. Plenty of clearance all around.

Your 14x5.5 Rallyes may fit. It depends on wither they were made for disk brakes or drum brakes. And if you are running 11" or 12" rotors. With 12" rotors you will need 15" rims. You could always test assemble one side and slip on the rim to see if it will miss the caliber.

I would suggest that you find a BBP rearend and avoid the mixed bolt patterns on the rims. It makes flat tires changes so much easier.

wheel and tire fitment can be frustrating. I run 215/60/15 front, 235/60/15 rear on my dart with factory ralleys.CHECK FOR BACKSPACE of the wheel. Most factory 15/7" have 4 1/4 backspace and fit well.Aftermarket wheels are all diffrent so always test backspace.Your ride hight will also be a key factor. most all will rub to the outside inner fender in the rear, often turning in and out of driveways.We just did a 74 to 67 disc swap and used 14 " Magnum 500 that fit just fine,again using all factory parts...........

It's hard to tell, if they are factory mopar wheels, 7" wide, the normal backspace will be 4 1/4 " . Aftermarket such as Stockton, Wheel Vintques, etc. can be made with anything you want.

Don't know. I saw the car at Vegas last year and talked to him for a minute before I took some pictures. Only thing I know for certain is the tire size.

Here are some other shots of the wheels, if it helps. Maybe you can visually compare them and make a guess.

Don't quote me on this but most factory wheels have the mopar star stamped near the valvestem that is not visiable in the photo. overall it looks to be about correct .

FYI- a '75 or so valiant or dart 7.25 rear end has big bolt pattern axles. I put one one my '64 dart to get the same bolt pattern as my '73 11'' disc brake conversion in the front. Ihad no clearance problems with stock 14"wheel and the discs. Don
