Let's hear 'em! What you guys got cooking?

Mine will be same old junk, starting off with a backup motor, and a shiny new driver. Got enough weight out of the car to make B/Nitrous. If the $$$$ situation holds up we may even go to a few more Slant races this year. :D

New seatbelts with shoulder harnesses are on the way as I write this. It's finally time to retire the Sears and Roebuck lap belts.
I'm thinking about a better steering wheel. Mine's cracked, skinny, and worn.
Later this year, a front sway bar will help with a couple of fast turns I like to make, and an air conditioner will make my trip to and from the road races at Fort Stockton, Texas much more comfortable. (I'm just a volunteer courseworker, not a competitor - yet) Not to mention the daily drive home from work.
Super Six (finally) ... hmmm ...
Oh, yeah! New carpet! Gotta get new carpet ...

Got a real electric fuel pump and filter mounted under the trunk floor on the Mitsu-Challenger before the end of season, but didn't get the chance to make a pass and see if my fuel delivery problem was solved. Plan to get a real Holley 2300 2-barrel mounted and get it tuned in next season.
Need to get my fried MSD sent in so I can get EI back in, and maybe I can make it into the low 16's on an otherwise stock motor.

Also have a set of big SI valves waiting here, just may send a head to Mike J. for future growth.

Roger

I plan to swap out the power steering for manual, go from a 904 to an 833OD, front sway bar, and the probably not gonna happen wish list is a new 390holley, I hope I can get the holley I have now working correctly though.

What kind of gears are you gonna put out back? 4.11s?

I'm not sure what I will go with for gears. I'll have to see what I can scrounge up. The 3.91's I have been using for racing are actually my brother in laws. I am going to have to do some JY scouring to find something steeper than the 3.23's at least for racing.

Got my alum flywhl and McLeod clutch and reringed motor in the 64 Dart. After some EFI tuning, I'm hopin' for 13s, AFTER I get back from CA and the Mopar Spring Fling Speed Festival at Willow Springs Raceway 5/3-5/5. Could be the biggest collection of 60s-70s Mopars on a road course EVER and I'm hoping to be one of them. This car will go into the paint shop next week...

Valiant might get a new motor with about 60 more HP. I am signed up for a road course event at VIR on 4/7-8 so far. Should have the powdercoated Ford 8" under it with Lou-fabbed 11.6" rear discs in the next few weeks. When I get the new motor in, it should run low/mid 13s and destroy some Beemers and Vettes on the road course.

68 Dart just got a decent drivearound paintjob and I'll get it back this week. Hoping to do one big performance thing during this year - hint: One word, starts with a T.

Lou

Sorry to hear about your accident Will. I hope everyone is okay.

I'm buying Norm Foster's old white Duster to replace the beat up body on the GodsRods Duster. Hopefully the roll cage will get put in some time this year. Transferring the engine and transmission likely won't get done this year unless by some miracle the Army decides to let me come back to the states. The Turismo continues to collect dust and rust...
