How many folks are reallly interested in another 1/8 mile race at Mooresville next year? This would be in cojunction with the Farmington and Piedmont shows.

Also any interest in Rockingham.....I have been approached about bring our series there.

Let me hear from you guys as to who would attend and also what time of the year would you want it??

Tom

In principle I am interested, but it just depends on how many free weekends I have to go racing and where the races end up.

If there were another race or two, I might be inclined to go to one but not make another if the schedule were better or worse. The Rock would be cool since it's a 1/4 mile and low altitude, but it's a lot further from me now too. Basically, it would depend on the particular dates.

According to Seymour's latest SSRN schedule, I have 5 races 2.5hrs drive or less (including Mooresville), and 9 races 5.5hrs or less. I feel blessed geographically, but more than 5 or 6 races will be hard for me to do.

I have had phone calls from two other racers. I would like some more input.

I do not want to put the track off until Feb. when they are putting together their schedule now.

If there is not enough interest in this then I will let it pass. Right now June and July look like the only real open spots.

Let me hear from you East coast and Southern guys.

Tom

I've never been to Mooresville, but it falls within my range. I can't promise I could make it no matter what the date (things come up), but I will if I can.
Let's see - Farm, Rock, Piedmont, Wilkes, Mooresville; 5 possible tracks within an hour's drive (well, 2.5 for Wilkes) - sounds very good to me!

Tom, I would be interested, but like all the other races, It is a mater of haveing the time and the money at the same time. At this point the only race I can commit to, is Valdosta, Ga.

Thanks guys for the replies.

I am not looking for promises just trying to see if there is interest enough for me to pursue this.

Seymour listed it on the schedule and if this is going to happen I need to be working on it now. Probably means I would give up the extra $$$ I put in Bristol and just concentrate on the three races here in NC.

Maybe some of you TN and GA boys could get together and take over Bristol??? Any takers......

Time permitting me getting a car together I will be able to make the Bristol Races as well as Rockingham...Mooresville is not too far away...Neither is Darlington...

Going to try to start the head this week....No promises though...

8 and 3/4 sure grip is under the car...391 gears...Hunting glass front clip for a valiant

We will have to see how it goes at this point.
