Where can I get one of these pullers to remove a gear or can it be done with a simple 12 ton press?

When reinstalling the gear I read to heat the gear and freeze the shaft. How hot to heat the gear? I don't want to get it to hot with the torch.

If your shaft / gear has a keyway, you must use a puller.
I use a toster oven to heat my gears, 400 degrees is about right.
