Well I was having a little tooo much fun yesterday. I dumped the clutch hard and and the pressure plate broke and came thru the extension housing. I havent accessed the damage yet, But I will need the housing for sure. 83 Ram, 833-OD.

Yeah, So I found a weak point :lol: Fortunately, the RPMs were not wound out. I think after it broke it bounced around a second or so and knocked out chunks all around until it broke a place big enough to fall out. I will get pics of it tomorrow before I tear it down. I'm not a racer or seasoned veteran like some of yall, but Surprised none the less!

Yes, a clutch failure can get nasty.
I had this happen to me with a 440 A-Body, doing a 3 to 4th "speed shift".
The complete drive line, engine to rear end was turned into trash in an instant, took me 6 months to get the car back on the road.
