Sam, to do that you begin the address with the "url" tag and end it with the "/url" tag. you can either type those in square brackets "[]" or use the URL button above the message composition window. Just click the button which inserts the tag then type your link address then click the button again to insert the closing tag.
Just FYI, using "code" tags you can type the example directly to eliminate any possible confusion... I've seen enough people on this forum use goofy formatting to explain proper usage of tags so many times that I've begun wondering if people know that's what code tags are for. To answer the question, a link would be typed like this:
