I've just spent about 3 hours searching online for the rubber seals that seal the gap between the front window and the rear "quarter" window;" the one that moves, not the little fixed "vent" behind it. It's a 62 Valiant Signet hardtop. I've found the cat whisker and the glass run channel but that quarter window seal is nowhere to be found. My question is: can I use the seal for another, perhaps later, model? I found some reproduction for a 68 Charger and I think if the cross section profile is the same that I can use it even though I might have to cut it to length. Any thoughts?

I went back to the A1 Auto website and looked some more. I found the seals for a 64-66 Valiant and from the picture there they look like the correct cross section. At any rate, I decided to risk the $26.95 and ordered them. Hopefully they'll fit.

David, I'm pretty sure Gary Goers has what you're after for your '62. See his catalogue.

I looked there and didn't find them but I could have overlooked it. We'll see how the parts from A1 look. The cross section appears to be perfect from the picture so if they are not too short I should be good to go. I'll know in a few days.

I got the window seals from 1aauto.com and they appear to be very nice pieces. The profile is slightly different but they fit in the channels and appear that they will work just fine - a far cry better than what;s in there now.
