Ok,
the new motor mount I purchased yesterday doesn't match the one that's in the car. Would someone mind looking at this pick and letting me know which is correct? I set the new one on top of the bracket for comparison. Is it possible that the rubber in the old one has swollen that much?

Looks to me like the car is a 66 or older "A" body, driver side. You need a Pioneer 602303 or a Anchor 2303, Westar Em-2303. mount. The mount you have looks like a later year. Many catalogs are incorrect and list the 66 and 67 mounts as the same. They are not. The parts break came between 66 and 67, not 65 and 66.

Thanks Charrlie,
You are correct on the model, side and part #. Both AutoZone and Oreilly list the wrong part, the number you gave me is correct. Do you happen to know the part # for the passenger side? It is on order so I haven't been able to look at it.

John

the other mount is 2304 -- the paddock did have them a while back for roughly $18 + shipping.

Correct
Thanks again,
Orielly's has them on order for me, but she's not sure if they can get the 2304. She even sold me the new one at the old one's price, saving me $5.

I got both these mounts for my 66 from Schumacher. They are not listed on the website, or any ads, but they have them in stock. Can't remember exactly, but they were less than $50 including shipping. Fit real well too. My engine was so far off that the alternator was banging the inner fender and it only took about a half hour to change them. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the link. Of course, they still list my RH motor mount wrong.... I found the correct one, listed for use on a 198. Think I'll buy a couple to have around.
