64-66 valiant/dart/cuda cancel install!!!

Im lost on replacing this unit...I got the new unit in which looks totally different than my old unit, yet when i tighten it down the wire whiskers dont work..it only works when its not tightened down...anyone have pics of a replaced turn signal cancel cam????

There aren't supposed to be any wire whiskers on the cancel cam for a '65. Where did you get it, and under what P/N?

Yep, that's the wrong cam you got on eBay.

Don't guess. Guessing is how you got the wrong part in the first place. Instead, ask.

The one and only repair cam worth buying for the early switches is made by
David Koldos (115 Hill Ave, Elgin, IL 60120-4412, (847) 888-2652 )

Last e-mail I have for him is dkoldos "at" ameritech "dot" net , which may or may not be current. He got fed up with the cruddy quality and short life of all the repair cams on the market, and, being a master moldmaker by trade, crafted his own really nice ones. That's the one you should get.
