Hey All,
Just rebuilt my BBD, and i got it running ok, but i don't think the accelerator pump is working as there is no stream of gas shooting into the carb when i use the throttle. It does idle and revs with stumbles (after i adjusted the pump from before when it simply would not rev), but no stream of gas like it should.
Does anyone have any idea what might be going on, and how i can fix it? When i put it together it seemed ok, but it's obviously not :-\
Thanks,
Allen

Which type of BBD? Is it the early type with the pink leather cup on the accelerator pump plunger? Or is it the later type with the black, blue, or green rubber cup?

The one with the green rubber cup. Is there any specific way to install it that i may have botched?
Thanks,
Allen

Make sure the correct size check balls are all in their proper locations.
Also take a close look at the check ball seats to be sure they are clean and smooth.
