There have been different styles of fuel pump on the slant-6 over the years: bolt-together rebuildable in '60-'63, crimped-together non-rebuildable from '64 up, with evaporative emission control hose fitting in '70 (California) and '71 (nationwide), with screw-in fuel filter in '73 and possibly early '74. All of these pumps are physically interchangeable, and they all have similar 3-5psi and volume characteristics. Any of them should feed your 390 OK. There are other pumps (Mopar big block) that can be modified with a slant-6 pump arm and installed, but this is in most cases totally unnecessary (and in fact can be quite counterproductive).
