The rear of my car is sitting too low for my liking right now. The wheel well lip sits about 1/2" above my 14" aluminum wheel. The leafs sit flat in the car. I am looking for new springs, my question is.... how much will a new set of 5 leaf springs (factory ride height, from espo springs) raise the rear? I realize there is no concrete answer, but what experience have you guys had. I may not need a super stock spring to obtain my desired ride height. I would like the car to sit about 2" higher than it is now. Thanks for any replies.

don't know about anyone's other than mopar SS springs. when installed on my 67 Dart the rear raised 5 1/4". Most spring shops like Eaton or Springs and Things can determine what you want over the phone. Eaton did a friend's with a 100 lbs increase over stock and a 2" drop for a Duster and he was very pleased,. If budget is a factor sounds like most buy from JC Whitney.

The spring places I talked to said "this spring will be factory ride height" or " this spring will be 2" over factory ride height" Cool, but what is the factory ride height? I may be happy with the factory ride height, but I dont want to spend $200 to find out that I should have gone with the 2" over.

I bought stock replacement 5 leafs for my 64 valiant from espo. my car came with 5 leafs. when I installed them I also lowered the car 1" by hanging the front eye higher up. the car sits exactly where it did before. the old springs sagged perfectly flat and these springs have a little arc to them. the ride is much stiffer now but handling is better.

When I first got my car, it looked like it was riding with the engine in the trunk, and no engine in the engine compartment. I got the 5-leafs from ESPO. I can't give you any concrete measurments, but after putting the new leafs on the back, and lowering the front with the torsion bar adjustment, it rides perfect (IMHO). Plus, I put KYB shocks on all four.

Here is a pic of the side of my car if you want an idea of how it sits.

My tires are on 15X7 rims, 225/60/15

It will probably lift up about 4 inches. Ours seemed (was) really high with new 5 leafs but was correct. I put in new front hangers to lower it some and it is just about right now. I could live with it lower, but it is ok. The fender is around 2 inches above our 15" rims. This is a 71 Swinger.
