You have got to be kidding!!!...Those tubes went for $192.50!!

I'm going to buy some new ones, then list them on e-bay. With the money that I make, I should be able to buy my pistons and rings. :)

Hey...come to think of it, I have some NOS 1960 spark plugs...ONLY 120,000 miles on them. How much do you think those will fetch?

Unbelievable!

Brain Damage. For $192.50 I'll make the things and come out ahead!

Hey! I can use my new furnace to make appropriate aluminum ingots, turn them down in my lathe, and put them on Ebay as custom machined drool tubes! I'll set the reserve high and set the buy it now at $500 !!!! No wait! 600 bucks. A hundred a tube! For $50 each I'll include oil cooling fins on each drool tube purchased!

(I'd actually just cast the things, then put some machine marks in them so everybody's happy. If they didn't go for the hard sell on the fins, I could cut them off and add them to the next melt.)

Maybe those particular drool tubes were owned by a celebrity or something. Makes them so much more valuable... :? "...Leonard Nemoy was thinking about having these installed on his Bentley, then realized it would void his warranty...."

I think I need to start selling stuff on Ebay. P.T. Barnum was right! (But you knew that. ;) )

Hey Doc! Sell the rubber gaskets one at a time!

They were only used for a little bit after all!

What do you think? 20 bucks a piece? :D
