Well, I'm sending the kickpanels in from my '62, so pretty soon they ought to have ready-cut insulation and new kickboards.

My kickpanels are in pretty good shape and they've already supplied me with the insulation; I just have to cut it to fit.

The correct pad arrived today. It looks really good. I'll try to get some pictures over the weekend. One thing I noticed is that where the original had some die cut pattern on the back this one is solid, no cuts other than the mounting holes. Other than that it looks perfect.

Mixed news. I was hoping they'd be able to make those back-side cuts, 'cause they help the pad sit flat up against the underside of the hood. But, I'll be keen to see whatever photos you can put up!

One of my customers once told me that the best way to judge a business is not so much by what they do right but by what they do when they make a mistake. In that regard I'm pleased with R.E.M.
Yeah, I was hoping it would have the back-side relief cuts but we'll see what it looks like when I get it installed.

Oh! Ya think! I was wondering what would keep it from blowing off.

Nice-lookin' item! I wonder if it'd be possible somehow to hand-score the relief cutouts on the yellow side...
