I have searched for information on the correct color for a 64 truck engine and have found references to "early" 60s truck slant six engines being painted yellow. Does anyone know if this applies to 64s.

I've seen late '60's truck 225's painted yellow, so its a good bet thats what the '64 should be.

Yep, yellow 225s in '64 trucks.

John Deere yellow is a pretty good match for the factory color. The Mopar Performance paint is of poor quality; I avoid it.
