I have some old 15" inch wheels on some old 185 75 R14 tires for my '71 Swinger. I believe the bolt circle is 4.25 ( 2 inches between the centers of two bolts). Can anyone confirm that this is the correct measurement for this model? Also, I'm looking for some "beefier" tires, maybe 205's. From what I've read that seems reasonable. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Unless it has been changed the '71 had the small 4" bolt pattern.

yours should be 14" diameter by 4 1/2 width rim on the small bolt circle 4" (as previously mentioned)--- the tire rack has a maxium tire for certain rim width's. You should be able to add some meatier tires-- 205/14's would probably be the max for that wheel-- check with your preferred tire store they can tell you.

A 4.5" wide wheel would be a 185 max width tire
