I am a corporation owning capitalist (probably genetically). that doesnt preclude me being an anarchist politically or a socialist in my community.

The ever hopeful socialist/capitalist in me has someone on this board getting the stash, dispensing it prudently, and getting a modest profit.

Does that sound greedy? Does my Russia hat make me look like a commie........?

Buy a couple of complete slants. Cheaper than buying a set of those washers. You gotta have more slants! They're not making them anymore. Or so the rumor goes.

You got that right Rug. I have made to where I get people to not only give me Slants, but now they deliver them to me too.

Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to get to Petersen's this morning. Maybe I will call them Monday.

Got my order today from Crown Dodge in AL.
In the package I found 10 triangular washers only.
Though not a complete set, I'm grateful for finding any part of it.
Thanks again ROADRUNNER

Actually ,10 triangle washers is enough for a slant, the center intake washer is round and can be found on some v-8 exaust manfolds. The end nuts and washers are special as they are designed to let the exaust "travel" or move a little as it heats up and cools down. Those are the parts we really need to find.

there was some used ones at the CC in Bowling green. $.50 a piece. I didn't buy any. I bought an ancient BBD and a TQ.
