Alright, found a Holley 1920 off '73 Dodge 100 with Slant six auto to put on my '86. I had a friend of mine who's dad runs late models check it out to see that it was rebuildable.
Now what I need to know who makes a good rebuild kit? The carb numbers don't seem to be list in the holley book, which is the type of rebuild kit I would prefer to have. So I was curious if Standard Hygrade was any good, if not what brand is good? And where to purchase the kit?

The numbers on the carb are as follows:
12R 5592b
6594 1983
3698347

Thanks for the help

Dave

My first choice is Walker, kit number 15519A.

Second choice Standard-Hygrade, don't have a kit number to hand at the moment.

Whichever you get, buy a new float as well!

Thanks Dan.
Yes I will by a new float and choke pull off as it is shot too. All I can find locally is Standard Hygrade, Borg Warner and GP Sorenson, who carries Walker? Can you order from their website?

Thanks again
Dave.

This was what made all the difference in MPG when I redid 5220 in my caravan last mid march!

Float could be partially sunk.

Cheers, Wizard

O'Reilly Auto carries Walker. You can order from them online at http://www.oreillyauto.com.

Thanks for the information.
I checked out O'reilly automotive and they have the the rebuild kit only, I will have to order it online since the nearest store is, well not near at all!!I still need a choke pull off and float. I would like to get the Walker float and choke pulloff but where? Is their another source who sells Walker Products? Or will the Standard Hygrade float and choke pull off be good enough?

Thanks Dave

It's almost certain that the float and the pull-off are made by the same people no matter whose box they're in. I have two brand-new Holley 1920 choke pull-offs behind the seat of my truck at the moment, not sure why.
