OK everyone start marking their calenders for the race at Thunder Valley in Bristol. We hope to have a good turn out. I was able to get a customer of mine to sponsor the race and we will have a good purse for everyone to shoot at. Ron Parker and myself have taken on this race and hope to have one of the largest turnouts on the east coast. Those Western guys have shown they can get it done so lets all think about making the trip to
Bristol. Southern Chemical and Textiles Inc. from Dalton, Ga. will be the major sponsor by putting up $1,000 in the pot. They also help sponsor my car so I am very appreciative. The owner was hoping to go to the race but has a conflict. He will supply a banner for us to fly with the company name on it. I know this is early but we must get the word out to get a nice turnout.
