I learn something new everyday. I just saw a offenhouser 2 single barrel carb intake on ebay. My interest is peaked to say the least. Two carbs two air cleaners just looks coooool. I was getting ready to swap my single carb intake with a super six and was wondering how the offenhouser set up compares, performance etc...

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Thanks

Run a search on the messages, there is a lot of info already posted.
In general, 1 carb is easer then 2 when it comes to installation, tuning and cost.

i agree!
2 is extra cool. i've been watching that ebay thing too.
like Doc says, one is much simpler, and if u have a motor cavity that makes it difficult to show the "twins", it'll probly be a waisted effort, But way COOL! ! ! ! !

a while back, i saw one go as a complete set up. but that guy had modified the intake manifold to hold 2 2bbl's. i guess that'd be a waist if u don't get the head worked up a whole lot!
for a sand-buggy, or a street rod, given the resources, i think i'd try for twins.

keep in mind, i have no prior experience with 2 carbs on a car. i've done multi's on a bike, but not a car.

good luck!
