There is a place down under that sells new steering knuckles with a 2" drop. The local guys call 'em 'Stub Axles'.
Although I couldn't find them on their website, the gentleman who replied to my e-mail said that they are in fact available. [Mabe one of yall would have better luck finding the correct page?
http://www.rodshop.com.au/index.htm ]

I am curious as to the similarities and dis-similarities between Australian A-Bodys and American A-Bodies:
do the two cars share suspension geometry?
ball joint size / style?
spindle size?
bearing + race styles?
brake configuration?

Good Day,
Seth McNeil

Hmmmm......Found it right off. Hit the main page, click on "Chassis, Suspension, and Brakes", then scroll down to about the second item on the page. Gives a list of all available "stub axles", with Valiant being the fourth one in the list.
Interesting website....Looks like I'm going to have to bookmark it......Thanks

Roger

Dan,

'73 Scamp. I'm not sure if it got the big ball-joint treatment though; it has 9" drums, no sway bar, and small bolt pattern wheels...

GTS225,

Thank you, I guess I have some other subdivision of the site saved in my favorites, making navigating more difficult. -But then, I am no computer whiz...

Bottom left corner of the page, pn SA4.

Doesn't look right to me, but then again, I might be looking at it wrong.
