I just checked the schedule for Brainerd. It does not look like Stock is being contested. :(

After 1 round Mike is #66. He didn't want to be last and he isn't so far. :D

I'm guessing it must be hotter than a beotch down there.

He's down to #72 after 2 rounds. Car went .308 under.

I'm sure Bliezen will step up and move him down another. :(

More trivia, #54 Steve Couch is one of Mike's engine customers and #36 Tim Mosbek has Mike's old 340 Demon stocker. :D

What diameter are those tires? Would they be the norm for Stock class?

looks like you would need a mega convertor and way steep gears to haze those. (Or I suppose a stock motor , mild convertor and even steeper gears.)

Our mudbogger has 10,27 final drive ratio with 33"tires....the 1st to 2nd shift can be alarming....it occurs before the false start mark, The idea is to get the wheel speed up as quickly as possible.

Is that the idea on Mikes car? Can he really use those tires? What gear would he run?

IIRC, Mike has the standard 30X9 radial stocker slicks.

He does have a lot of converter and gear, but I am not at liberty to say how much. It is typical stocker stuff though, and pretty close to what you guys do in the bogger Sandy.
