Its probably been discused before but, I couldn't find it. I was wondering on a stock motor with a 1bbl intake/carb and an aftermaket ignition/coil, if I should gap my plugs differently for each intake runner? Since the flow of gas would be stronger in the middle and get weaker on the outer runners. Right now they are gapped at .045 and is this gap to much for my setup?

Gap 'em all the same. 0.045" is probably a little much unless you're running HEI or MSD and HD plug wires. At the very least, if you run 0.045" gaps, use a NAPA Echlin long-tip rotor # MO-3000 which has a longer end contact to reduce the gap inside the distributor cap. With Mopar electronic ignition and any coil, 0.040" usually works pretty well.
