Hey guys, I have a question. I have already searched to see if someone posted something similar but I didn't find anything. I noticed that my gauges didn't work and after working on it and updating the cluster board, I found out that it still didn't work plus none of the lights work. After comparing the wiring under the hood with my service manual, I saw that the previous owner cut wires and never hooked them back. Now I could go through the work of fixing the chopped up wires on the harness but they are VERY short now. So I thought I might find a donor close by that I could take the harness out and replace it. My question is, what models would match up besides the exact same model? Such as a dart, earlier/later valiant and so on. I'm not familiar which models you can swap parts with just in case I come across one so I can pull a Dr Frankenvaliant and get this car running. Thanks Dan

'67 to '69 Valiant for sure, maybe a Dart too, but the dash wiring may be different.

Yep, as Chuck says. Can't easily go earlier than '67, and while a '70 or '71 harness will probably largely be usable, there will probably also be some differences. Valiant/Duster '67-'71 and Barracuda '67-'69, with 6-cylinder engine, followed by Darts & Demons of the same years. If you want to get a brand-new harness, you can do from Evans Wiring; they don't show slant-6 stuff on their website, but pretty sure they can alter the wire lengths to suit as needed.
