Sorry if it's a dumb question, but my '72 demon came with (I think) 10" drums on the front. My '73 swinger came with (for sure) 10"x2.5" Drums on the front.

I had a broken stud in my front wheel on the demon, and bent up the face of my drum trying to press out the old studs to put in new ones. I ended up just squeezing the drum back inbetween the hub and the wheel, and re-torquing once after a couple drives. (running the drum floating, not swedged) It seemed okay for a while, but now its getting noisy.

I just took off my knuckles and UCAs from my swinger to put in discs and rebushed arms, so I have these relatively newly refurbished front knuckles with '73 drums on them.

All parts are SBP. I am pretty sure that the drums on the '73 are 10"x2.5", but instead of fins, they have a spring stretched around their circumference.

I need advice- will the '73 knuckle take my '72 LBJ? If so, then I can use my '73 swinger's old UCAs. If not, can I put the finned drums on the '72 setup? Really, for now that is what I'd like to do since the swinger is down for upgrades and Im depending on the demon to get to work.

Thanks
Kevin

Pretty sure you'll have no trouble swapping the finned drums onto the '72 car directly.

I'll drive over to the garage tomorrow and try it. Happy 4th.
