I talked with Danny Dunn last night and the Friday night test and tune is cancelled. Danny asked me to apologize for the inconvenience this might have caused. Joe, who is Dannys staging lane man is getting married Friday and Danny simply forgot. Everyone from the track will be at Joe's wedding.
I have talked with numerous people, and its looking like a big contingent of Slant 6'ers are going to make this race so it appears we will have a very good car count. If you are on the fence go ahead and make the effort it will be worth it.
Saturday morning around 9:00 A.M. be at Empire Chrysler Dodge Jeep with your Mopar for display in front of the showroom while we kick back and catch up on Slant 6 racing stories.

Thanks for the info. Too bad about the t'n't, but there it is... I'll be there in the 64 Dart. The 68 would be more consistent, but the 64 is just sooo much fun to drive!

Everything is in order for me. I will be on my way unless the weather man calls for heavy rain all weekend. I should be arriving early in the day Saturday if not sooner.

I' seem to have gotten the duster to run REAL good, I guess everyone will see what this footbraker is all about Hope to see all the usual
crowd there and some new faces as well. I think I have my friend talked into racing his slanted pickup.... The duster will be set for kill if I have to kill it trying, I dunno how long that mills gonna last twisting it 5500 on the stock short block

Missing this race is going to suck I can't get out of work for the race this weekend. Sounds like this will be THE race to be at on the eastcoast this year. Good luck to everyone!
