Thanks for all the info I've got on rebuilding my 65 cuda front end.
I have one last problem though. Trying to replace lower control arm pivot bushing. I have the control arms out and the rubber bushings are almost completely deteriorated.

The inner metal part of the bushing is stuck on the bolt end, and the outer metal part is stuck inside the T-bar socket. What do I do now? I don't see how I can press them out. How does that control arm, T-bar socket, and adjusting lever contraption all come apart. I have access to a press, I am just not seeing how I can press them out, since the bushing is not all one piece anymore. Help, what do I need to do?

hi, Terry; I thought you might have problems. I know it's not completely straightforward and the way these old parts are disappearing, you don't want to ruin anything. First thing, relax, that's the way they all come apart.
The lower control arm bushing outer shell which is stuck in the bore of the t-bar socket has a rolled flange on the end facing out. Take a chisel and hammer and fold the flange in. Be careful, and try not to nick the socket itself. Work your way around the circumference, folding it into the center. Eventually the shell will lose enough of its interference-fit and fall out.
The inner shell of the bushing that is pressed onto the pivot bolt can be removed by using a bench grinder to grind a flat on the outer surface. You don't have to grind all the way through, just paper thin. It will lose its tension, relax and fall off. If you nick the pivot it's not the end of the world. When you get close to the pivot you'll see the difference in the metals, if you look carefully, and then slow down a bit on the grinding.

Thanks very much, for the info.
I'll be tackling it tomorrow morning. The car has been down for a week now and it is our main vehicle. After this it's off to the alignment shop. This is the best website.
