Just a reminder to all that the only slant6 race for the entire month of August will be at Redding raceway on Sat/Sunday , August 25-26. We will run our National Points race on Saturday and then on Sunday, run two separate races letting the slower cars pair up against each other and the faster doing the same. Then the winner pair up..We have a $600+ purse for Saturday plus reaction time, "bulls eye for Glen Terry money" for additional incentive. Maybe Richard "The Sandbagger" will get his second wind and take out Glen?? For those of you that want to come on Friday, the track will be open on late Friday...No overnight fees and tech fees again are waved for our slant6 group. No excuses to say we are "bumping heads" with another venue. Give Doug or Wayne a call or email for additonal info. (waynee@dcsi.net or Doug @ 1-408-749-1890)
Let' again make this a 20+ car turnout. See you at Redding raceway.

HI Richard: According to the article in last months Mopar Collectors Guide, Glen was watching you too close and cut a lousy light. He was watching you more than the light. I am sure you will "rub it in" like salt on the wound..I love it...See you at Redding..

wayne;
maybe you could bring the collecters guide as I have not seen one around here.
One of the guys at the Medford meet was telling me there was a write up (small) and a picture of my car in some magazine. He was going to see if he could find it and send it with Glen to the Oldies meet at woodburn. However he either couldn't find it or forgot.
If any of the other /6 people out there know of which magazine it is and what month, send me a message. I would like to see the article.

Thanks, Richard

Hi Richard/Tristan: The ariticle is in the September issue of Mopar Collectors Guide. There is a photo on the cover of our "trophy girl" from this past Medford Meet (just kidding). I will bring a copy just in case you can't find at your local Barnes and Noble.

Tristan: You are the best..it has been hard getting some cars out of the Sacto area and now with all your help (including $$$ donations..thanks) we have several planning to some on August 25-26. Charlie emailed me and wanted to know the rules for running his convertible. I couldn't answer so referred him to Doug. I think Charlie will bring one of his cars so please check on him and also Mag00. I was hoping Gary Nelson would again show up as he has been working on "Dobie" . Gary really did a great job with the video camera last time so hopefully, he will be there again. Can't wait to see your "Wicked Six" run with the new gears...thanks again for being in charge of the Sacto group..BBQ sounds great...later, Wayne/Aric

Tristan: Forgot to give you kudos for making it all the way to the finals at Sacto raceway. You put several back on their trailers early. Glad you were there to represent the "killer bees". See you soon..

I'm tentatively planning to be there. So far it looks good!

If I am able to make it, I plan to drive down Friday Afternoon/Evening.

CJ

Shall we see if I can hold it under 20 seconds this time? :lol:
