Went to the new job today and got my shift assignment that starts after my 2 weeks of training. I go on 3rds Sunday-Thursday.

IF I get dug out of the hole enough, there is a slim chance I will pull to St. Louis.

I started reassembling the good motor last Friday too. With Labor Day in there I may have it back in the car too.

If I get to StL my trailer queen will be pulling the trailer not riding on it.

Hell Hath No Wrath Than A Possum Scorned

So far, so good. I was supposed to start as a crewman on a press. I got assigned an operator's position today. Between that and 3rd shift premium, I got a $3+ an hour raise already.

Where do people stay at for this big event...its only 4 hours from me (KC). Maybe seeing some slants run will get my fire going to get mine finished again. Its still got quite a ways to go though .

Any preferred sites? Maybe I'll figure up how much it'd cost to get out there. If I go I'll be flying solo, but if anyone wants to split a room I'd be open for discussion!
