If you say so. I'm planning to use them because they are heavier and more rugged but I don't expect a big difference in feel just from the sleeves alone.

Growing older is unavoidable but growing up is strictly optional.

Just curious, does your 1974 have the isolater spring clamps on the rear leaf springs and the rubber bushing isolating the K-member? (I think B- body cars got these in 1973...) I think Mopar Perf. a long time back had a kit so you could make things 'solid' (aka solid spacers on the k-member rather than mushy rubber bushings...), I'm not sure if those are still offered, but it would help to replace them if stiffening up the suspension a bit.

DI : yes, my car does have the isolator spring clamps and the K member bushing donuts. I have ordered the K frame bushings in black poly. I've revised my plan a bit; I ended up going w/ rubber lower LCA bushings after all, because no one could give me a for sure answer if I was going to have for-and -aft sliding issues w/ them. I did however go w/ the FF level one steering box, so this should make a noticable difference. I've also got new pitman arm and idler arms sitting in boxes ready to go if need be. Thanks for all your input guys. I'll let you know how she turns out. -Dave
