Memorial Day Weekend, at Valdosta, Georgia.
It looks like there will not be a slant six race at this event. I spoke to the promotor, and the only way they will do it, is if we put up $500 by Sep 19th, 2007. This would garuntee the purse, and that they will not lose money on the class. For 2007, they put up $500 on Sat and $500 on Sun. only 5 cars showed up. They lost their butt on us, so I cannot blame them. The reason for the deadline, is to know wether to include the slant race in their advertising. I cannot afford to do this on my own, and actually do to the lack of support, don't think I would, any way. This would be a Sarurday only race if it is run. What do you racers think?

rpracing can blast you 500 dollars if you can take care of getting a race for 2008. then lets see what happens next year some more money may come in .I want to try it another year before we give up Charlie if I blast you a check can you get us a race for 2008. Thanks Ron Parker

Ron, if you are willing to do that, I am willing to try it another year. I hope we can make it work. It would just be a Saturday points race. No slant race on Sunday.

Talked to Glenn Hickman of South Ga Mopars and will send him a check the first of the week to secure a Slant race in 2008 at Valdosta. It will be the Slant Six Racing News South Ga National points race. Im sure we can come up with some additional purse money by then Thanks Ron Parker
