Hey Dan, quick question (asking here in case anyone else was wondering the same thing): Will the Raybestos WC37696 cylinders also work well with a 10" x 2.5" rear drum setup? I'm going to refurbish the brakes before I tackle the suspension (figured safety should outweigh comfort here) and wanted something that'd help keep the rears from locking up at the drop of a hat. I just tap my brakes on wet pavement and the guy in front of me panics

When I ordered them yesterday, they were listed as the RAYBESTOS Part # WC37696 {Professional Grade}, but as a "dealer" closeout with a 30 day guarentee instead of the "lifetime" guarentee which usually accompanies these. When I ordered yesterday, they also had the same wheel cylinders for $12.49 with the regular guarantee. I figured that I will know if they are any good within 30 days, and probably wouldn't bother sending them back anyway at $7, so that is what I ordered.

Just now I looked at the Rockauto site and they aren't offered anymore. Apparently, they sold out of the $7 between then and now.

I saw those too, but wanted to wait until I had taken care of a couple other things first. Shoulda jumped on 'em.

My brakes are getting a complete redo. Everything except for the hard lines is getting replaced. I've already had to replace one caliper up front cause it was seized up, so I'm going to go ahead and replace other other as well. New slotted rotors from Centric (if they don't cost an arm and a leg), new organic pads, new drums, shoes and cylinders in the back, and replacing the soft lines with stainless steel braided lines.

Which brings me to my next question: Who's a good brand to go with for SS braided brake lines?
