Looking at 440 Source.com I have found that they stock the factory 98 gram solid lifters with the wide oil band. Of course they sell them in sets of 16 for $69.95. Don't know if this is good or bad just wanted to put it out there.

Just weighed a stock slant six "dumbell" lifter, VL-1937, 98.5 grams. Cost on E-bay, approx $2.00 ea. or $24.00 per set. Much cheaper.

I have 2 sets that I bought from Kiwi John at a swap meet. IIRC, I gave $20 a set.

PS: The $2.00 ea was the current price I have seen. The ones I have were actually the "Bulk Buy" on e-bay a couple of years ago. Got 3 sets at about $1.10 ea.

Kiwi John is good to deal with.
I bought a few parts including a NOS distributor from him at the 'Big Daddy' Garlits show. Also bought some NOS rockers from him off ebag.
He has a good selection of new slant six parts. At Garlits, he had a set of NOS 225 con rods.
The last lifters I bought were around $1.25 each. They are Wolverine brand and were being closed out so I picked up 3 sets of them.
If some one wants a set of Schubeck ceramic faced lifters, I know some one that broke their V8 (cam broke!) and has 14 good ones for sale.
