My .040 oversize early 2.5 pistons from U Fix It Auto Parts arrived today. $14.07 for each set of 4. I got two sets which leaves me with two spares. I only have one 4 cylinder set of rings that set me back about $20. Looks like the rest of the rings will run me about $60 unless someone has half a set left over from their build with 2.2 or 2.5 pistons. These pistons are going to be used in a cheap stroker 170. The piston will stick above the deck, but the top ring is nearly 3/8"' down from the crown so the ring will still be over .200" down the bore. My biggest concern is valve to piston clearance.

That is a great price and that is not a bad cast piston.
I like the thick skirt walls and the steel expansion struts.
It does look like that piston has a good amount of off-set so pay attention on how it installs. Basically, the current valve notches at useless and will be on the wrong side of the off-set.
