 Post subject: Stand-off Pipes

OK Doc, dumb question. The oil control stand-offs for the lifter valley. Do you whittle these out of bar stock, are they pipe fittings, or is there actually a part number for these?

The ones I use are made from brass pipe fittings, working off memory, they have a 3/8 NPT thread.
The biggest issue is clearance to the side of the lifter galley makes it hard to get a wrench on them. A slot accross the top allow them to be installed with a brod-blade screwdriver.
