can anybody that has o-ringed their block exsplain the procedure for me,is the block and head grooved or just the block? :?:

On my engine, just the block is grooved. I have heard of the block being, o-ringed, and the and the head getting a "reciever" groove. but have never seen this.

thanks charlie, i am just trying to get some ideas straight i my head as to my head gasket problem and what is the best fix that i can afford.i have been talking to so many people about this i just need to clear my head and do what i need to do. :?

Mike's last spray motor has the block and head both done. It is the normal way to do it. :D
