Well, impatient man turbo

say I wanna experience with turbo my existent motor, while I finish the car and can start another idiotic money pit and build the 4.120 stroke 91 mm bore slant,

can I get away with non-forged pistons?
do I have to O-ring my block?
big turbo like Holset HY31 - Garret GT4088R (AR 5.0 is about the same size, BIG turbo for up to 4 liters engine and 600 hp)

I just want to blow ANOTHER engine before I build the big cubes slant.

I'm putting a GT4082 on my internally stock slant six. We'll see how it holds up. I've heard of slant sixes running 10 psi of boost on stock internals before.

I plan on running a 600 CFM holley 4160. I'll jet it "safely"

shaker223, what are you using as in total timing, cam timing, ignition, etc etc?

See here for the specs.

For my combo, I've found 19* of total timing to be the best. I tried 16* to 21* (verivied on a chassis dyno) and the gains from 19* to 21* were not worth it.
