I think that's Romeo Furio's engine built by Mopar Engines West and dyno'ed at 320HP with the EFI.

There was a 62 Valiant with a 225 and Fastman EFI at the Phoenix fall Mopar show this year. I don't recall the owner's name.

There is a basic dyno chart in that article.

I can see why alot of you guys get upset with these magazines. Quite a few subtle remarks they throw at the slant are somewhat biased. Good article though.

and I suggest we all deserve every bit of it. A whole bunch of us raked the editor of Mopar Muscle, (Randy Bolig), over the coals back when they were doing the slant in that red Dart Sport in May of 2006, for getting a reman carb from a local parts outlet, before they dropped a small block into it. (Yeah, I'm guilty, too, and I did it before even having read the article.) I can't help but wonder if they might have left the slant in, if we hadn't been so nasty to him. That editor has never been back since, and I'm ashamed to say that WE drove him off.

If you want to read about it, see http://slantsix.org/forum/viewtopic.php ... highlight=
