A few years back I picked up a 73 Valiant with a slant six for a daily driver ... I got to really like that car ... until the torsion bar mount finally rusted out last winter ... I have many stories with this car, but a favorite is ... a 1960 Plymouth Belvedere with a slant six was advertised, and only about 700 miles from me, so I go in the old Valiant & went to take a look ... the 60 Plymouth was pretty nice, and I wanted a finned car ... so I towed it home with a tow bar behind the Valiant ... which wouldn't have been such a big deal except it was winter, and very windy ... so the roads were very slippery ... I got the car home, no problem but saw many cars in the ditch along the way ...

Sorry, no more pictures of the 60, I sold it when I found a nice 57 Plymouth Sport Suburban ... an d just didn't have room for it .... but it was a nice car, slant six with an auto trans ... and it had been set up for driving with hand controls as the original owner was in a wheel chair ... the lady that purchased it from me, still brings it out to some local shows ... and has redone the interior ... maybe I will get some better pictures when I see it at the next show ...
