Actually,

Current if trying to pull through a rising resistance wiring, the current *DROPS* along with voltage but in some cases the capacity of wiring decreases if current is not going down enough that it eventually burns up or oxidizes the wiring stuff and eventually fail either in fire, burnt parts or dead circuit.

That how I see this way as I repair electronics.
