Take the door lever off, remove the window crank. Remove the armrest. Pull the inner door panel.

There is a round plastic part that runs in the rail. It installs through the class and keeps it down in the channel. If it's damaged, it can easily pop out of the window.
There are ways to fabricate something that will stay put. These parts don't seem to be available anymore.

Just be careful and have plenty of light on things. It's pretty well opened up once you get the door panel off. Do your best to keep the plastic intact. It acts as a vapor barrier. Without it, the board the inner door panel is made of will gradually turn to mush.
Use care when removing the panel. It has clips that hold it to the door.
I have a tool for popping them loose. It needs to support the board well, otherwise you can tear the panel, and/or tear the "Clips" out of it.

The panel is held on the vertical edges and bottom edge with the clips. Once they are off, the panel lifts off the top of the door.

Hope that helps.

Get a manual! It's worth the coin! :D

Check used book stores. Sometimes you find some good stuff.

i was able to pop the door panel with out any dammage to the clips, i just took my time with it. i ran out of light and got tired of getting rained on so i just tossed a tarp over the car and i should hopefully get it fixed tomorrow.

well i spent some time fixing up the door panel, i pulled the vinl tight and added another layer of plastic when i put it back on.

i used a very heavy rubber grommit to go thu the glass with a 2" od hard rubber washer on each side. then a stainless steel bolt to go thru the rubber washers and grommit.

i used lithium grease on the track and its awesome!.

i have the part bin numbers and i will post them on this thread cause its awesome. i slammed the cr*p out of the door and no problems.

thanks so much guys. as always your help has been priceless!

firmfeel says wends i get my box!!!!

happy hollidays mates!
